Or someone on v3 can install v4 Prime (in parallel) and encode to MP3 for free until they update. It had also been a paid add-on originally. Same situation with Cakewalk, but they released a free patch to enable the encoder in Sonar a couple of years ago, right after the patent expiration. PreSonus paid a licensing fee in the v3 days so that's why it was a paid add-in. They aren't going to go back and update v3 just to add that in. ![]()
